  • While at times coaching may feel therapeutic, coaching is not therapy.

    Coaching is a more goal directed process that is intended to help people work through short-term needs and to add additional support.

    Coaching doesn't replace therapy and often people may have both a coach and a therapist.

  • Yes- and many people do. It is important to understand that coaching is not meant to substitute therapy.

    Additionally, your therapist shouldn't be your coach. I do not provide coaching to my current or former therapy clients.

  • Yes! I completed a 6 month certification in Trauma and Resilience Coaching from the Arizona Trauma Institute. In addition, I have completed advanced training in recovery coaching under a motivational lens and using the SMART recovery model.

    In addition, I have over 10 years of experience providing short-term crisis intervention and resourcing for survivors of sexual and interpersonal violence.

    While I don't provide therapy to my coaching clients, I am able to decipher when it might be helpful to reach out to a therapist and when coaching is more appropriate
